SUMMER MUSEUM HOURS: Daily, June 12th to Sept. 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
WINTER/SPRING MUSEUM HOURS: Weekends from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
DAY USE FEE: $8.00 per vehicle.
GUIDED TOWN TOURS are offered at 1:30 p.m. when the museum is open.
Camping Status:
MINER'S CABINS are open for reservations during the winter months. (Please see "Recreation" menu for information.)The CHUTE HILL CAMPGROUND will continue to be open until November 1, 2010, weather permitting. The campground is off reservations but open to first-come, first-served campers. Please call the park headquarters for current weather conditions before you arrive.

Junior Ranger Program - Saturday, September 4th, 2010.
Enjoy several historic activities, including candle dipping, gold panning, and tin punching. Ages 4-12, meet at the museum. (1.5 hours)Ice Cream Social - Sunday, September 5th, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Join us for old fashioned family fun. We'll have homemade ice cream and lots of games for kids and adults. Bring a picnic lunch or enjoy a hot dog on us. No charge!
Gold Panning - Saturdays at 3:00 p.m.
Find your fortune! We'll supply the pans, gold and instruction. Meet at the park museum. A $1.00 donation per person is requested. (1 hour)
